Do you feel tired of waiting? Do you feel like you have waited so long for something good with no resolve? Do you feel tired of waiting for that house you want? Or maybe you are longing to get pregnant? Or for that job you have been dreaming of? Or maybe you are waiting for your marriage to resolve? Or for your kids to finally get back on track?
You may feel like you are ready to give up. I get it! Believe me… I totally get it! The wait can be

Ok, I get it. I have been there… over and over again. There was one season where we were waiting for our home to be sold. It actually took about 9 months to sell! Funny, hey? Kinda like the length of a pregnancy. It actually felt like a pregnancy! The market was crazy high when we listed it, so we listed it at a high price hoping to catch the wave. Unfortunately, the market shifted shortly after putting it up for sale, and we got caught in the 2008 market crash. So I prayed, fasted, and cried out to the Lord as we waited for our home to sell.
It was in the wait, the Lord showed me rainbow after rainbow to remind my heart that His promises would prevail, that He was in control, and we would be ok. A week after our listing ran out, some people who had previously seen our home, called us up and gave us an offer. It was well under what we had originally listed it for, but we knew we had to be humble and had to sell it to stay afloat. And guess what? After selling, we were able to build and move into the most beautiful new home! The Lord had it all in His hands. His timing was perfect, even if it didn’t go the way we had planned… or happen in our time.
In the wait, I can’t help but picture the anticipation pregnancy brings. Those long months of uncomfortable. Anxiously waiting for that beautiful baby to arrive. There are so many feelings of apprehension. Wondering if
…when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required
Luke 12:48

We are a bunch of planners and want to plan and arrange our lives, but we just can’t plan everything. We need to surrender control. This world is uncontrollable at times and so is the wait. It’s actually in the wait the greatest work is being done…
There is something special and beautiful in the process of the wait. This where new things are birthed. This is where new growth happens. It is in the wait is we anchor ourselves in Jesus and His truth. The wait is where we long and groan and cry out in surrender before our Lord, giving Him room to move as He needs to. The wait is where beauty gives birth to joy-if we are patient and wait in due time. Do not get ahead or loose patience my friends, as it is in the wait we are tested, tried and refined. We are healed and broken free of what beaks us.
It is in the wait new birth grows into something
beautiful andtimeless . Healthy andwhol e, ready for new things to emerge.

If we are not patient in the wait, we miss out on the beauty of seeing beautiful things grow. We are not ready for what we are called for and may fall apart in the process. It is not long lasting or anchored, and will quickly fade away.
So, it’s time to trust the process my friend, because that’s where Jesus solidifies us to be ready for every good thing He has in store for us. Trust the process my friend because today He is enough. He knows what your ready for and without the wait, we would miss out on the joy of the blessings.

My friend, if your tired of waiting today, take joy knowing the Lord is preparing your heart to be ready for what He is calling you to. Spend some time in prayer and fasting to break off what needs to be healed and come before the Lord in expectation. He has not forgotten about you! He is just anchoring you to be ready for every good thing He actually has in store for you. Don’t get ahead of Him and don’t give up. Actually enjoy the beauty of the quiet of the wait, for good things are coming. And when they do, it can be hard to catch our breath when they do.
