How to be restored in the hard times
 
Have you ever worked hard only to lose what you worked so hard to build? You pray and life only seems to get harder? But during these times, know there is a time of restoration and rebuilding coming…
 

The hard times

I have been going through a tough couple of weeks. I just did a transfer of hosts for this blog (a host is like the landlord of a property you would rent from). I needed to move my blog from my old host to a new one. But my new host (or landlord) was not able to move over my blog successfully. Thankfully I was able to retrieve all my old content but am now working to rebuild my site from scratch. It should be fully up and ready by next week, so check back in! As I worked hard to save my old site, I sought the Lord in what I should do. Laying it all at His feet, this is what He showed me in the difficult place I was in…

 
This is a verse that has been speaking to me. Life is really all about balance. The word of God shows us that over and over. We need to read the Bible as a whole and look for the seamless character of the Lord. The Bible seems to contradict itself at times, but in the end, there is a greater message there. To remain balanced. To be thankful in all circumstances, and seek the Lord in the midst of the hard times we are going through. To trust His goodness in surrender and obedience. Because at the end of the day this world is meaningless. But life eternal in Christ is forever.
 
How to be restored in the hard times

There is a time for everything under the sun

Do you feel like there are times God calls you to work endlessly? And times He calls you to just to wait on Him? Times we are called to pour into our family, and other times we are called to let go and trust His promises for our family. As I waited on the Lord for what to do about the blog, I felt Him showing me it was time to rebuild and start fresh. And I am so thankful I did as it seems to be even better than before! Whatcha think?:)

It is through the difficult times we learn to let go of the things of this sinful world. We learn to trust the Lord completely. It’s in these times He deepens our faith. But as we walk through this time of tearing down, we are promised that one day soon, the breakthrough will come. 

The rebuilding

I have been through a tough couple of years, as maybe you may have too? It’s been a tough refining process. It has felt like a time of tearing down the walls of my heart. But as there is a time for everything under the sun, I am reminded there is too a rebuilding time. Maybe I am finally in the rebuilding? It feels like a brand new day full of promises. So, no matter where you are at right now… know there is a time for everything.
Life is about balance, a balance of faith, family, marriage, work, kids, home, play, rest and to find joy in it all. Even in the tearing down and the rebuilding times.
As you come into the place of rebuilding, know that the blessings are beyond what we could ever imagine. And it makes the broken places worthwhile (kinda like the pain and joy of having a baby:)) if we are willing to walk through the pain trusting that God has something better coming.
 
How to be restored when your going through tough times
 
The picture that comes to me is a house being burned down. But as the house goes through the fire, it will need rebuilding. And when it is, it becomes brand new and more beautiful than it ever was. God is making all things new as He works in our lives to fully restore us. It’s through the fire we come to the place of obedience He is calling us to. He knows what we need for every simple step ahead to grow and find healing in Him…
 HOW TO RISE WHEN LIFE GETS HARD

Prayer

Lord give us the endurance to stay on the straight and narrow path as we go through the painful places of healing. Give us faith as you rebuild our foundation in You. I pray that we stand firm in your truth, trusting that you are are making all things new in your timing. I pray we would come to reflect your glory and walk forward in obedience as You call us. In Jesus name Amen.
