Are you feeling overwhelmed on where to start for your Christmas preparations? Do you find yourself dreading what should be the most wonderful time of the year? I get it! The expectations, parties, and concerts can all be overwhelming as we walk into what should be the most peaceful family time of the year. So how can we survive or even thrive this Christmas season?
Christmas made simple
Growing up as a kid, I would show up to school slightly embarrassed by the few gifts I got as a kid while my friends all rambled off the amazing lists of gifts they got for Christmas. But now as an adult, I am so thankful for the legacy my parents left me on how to enjoy Christmas in a more meaningful way. We have continued trying to keep Christmas slightly humble and enjoyable in our home. It’s not about how big or fancy we can make it. Christmas really is all about the time together, the memories created, and the reason for the season. Check out more of my previous Christmas posts here.
