I don’t know about you, but I feel tired… and overwhelmed… and blessed, all at the same time!
“Look up child” is the title to a very popular Christian pop song by Lauren Daigle. This song is a good reminder to the whisper I felt the Lord say to me the other morning as I woke up.
In all the busy and all the clutter, confusion, and to-do lists this life has to offer, I heard the Lord say to my heart “Look at me dear one. Keep your eyes fixed on me in the busy of the storms and clutter of this world, and I will work it all out for your benefit and for my glory”
So, my beautiful friend, don’t try to do this day on your own or you may start to drown as Peter did in Matthew 14:28-31.
Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him.
We will start sinking if we look around at our circumstances instead of fixing our gaze on Him. Let Him be enough for you today. “Look at me dear one” He says.
