Do you feel the storms of life raging around you right now friend???🤍

The other day we had a pretty big wind storm. It totally knocked our power out for hours. It was annoying and definitely messed with our plans for the day.

We had to adjust our expectations and make the most of our romantic full house that evening 😂
🤍
It ended up being an amazing evening! One full of special memories. The house was cozy even with the storm surrounding us.
🤍
That's where the beauty is... even though you feel the storm raging around you right now, the Lord comforts us and wraps us up in His perfect peace. He helps us to weather the storm that tries to take us down... if we trust Him to take us through it and not lean on our own understanding.

So let's change our expectations of what should happen right now, and trust the process we are in. Pray, fast, seek the Lord, find comfort in Him, and read His word to stay anchored through the storm

And you know what??? There is beauty on the other side. There is breakthrough waiting if we trust His perfect plan and His perfect timing.

So friend... just wait, trust, and allow the growth that the Lord wants to bring. Anchor yourself in His promises, because there will be glory and breakthrough when we do 🤍🤍🤍

These days can feel really difficult to be thankful with so much going on. So many disappointments this year. We all are grieving changes in some way or form.

As as I sat in church for the first time yesterday in 7 months (it felt so surreal, I just wanted to weep the whole time😭😭😭. It was so wonderful!)! The Pastor talked about what it meant to be grateful. To have a heart of thanksgiving. Something only the Lord can truly give us. We are such consumers that we are always on to the next thing and the next thing... but when we have a grateful heart, we find true joy... even in the difficult and hard🤍

Give thanks in all circumstances (Thess 5:18).
It doesn't matter what is going on around us... There is always, always, always something to be thankful for. So, as we come to the Lord with hearts of thanksgiving, we find joy, and that joy is our strength, even in the difficult times 💕

A few things I am thankful for today is...
✔Family time
✔A Cozy home to curl up in
✔ Work and clients we love
Celebrate with family
And Jesus who loves me and saved my soul
✔ Another Thanksgiving dinner
✔ A walk to walk off all the yummy stuff this weekend💁‍♀️
✔ Quiet moments with the Lord
✔ Coffee and more coffee
✔ A day off
✔ A savior who reminds me over and over again how much He loves me and what He did for us all on the cross so we don't have to live life in fear, but in abundance. And He shows me daily how to love others the same💕

✔ use fun paper plates and napkins
✔ grab your favorite take out, or grocery store rotisserie chicken and bag salad
✔ pick up a @costco pumpkin pie

Ok, friends. I know the world feels scary right now and feels like it has totally turned upside down!

But... guess what? We were never called to walk in fear! For we have authority in Christ against fear, and He wants us to live in the freedom He offers us!

So, where the world is telling you to be afraid and stay the hurt of your injustice... shut it down, and tune into the gentle voice of the Holy Spirit. Rest in His beautiful presence.

Oh man those numbers look soooo big! Where did the time go? I don’t even know what to think, as I still feel 29!😘🤔💁‍♀️

Oh well, I will choose to rock this number and enjoy this new decade ahead that I pray includes grandchildren, spouses and careers for our kids. And even more special moments with my family and friends.

I am so thankful to work in a career I love, and for each and everyone of our clients we get to work with. I am excited for the new aspirations ahead, even if its hard somedays. Most of all I feel blessed to have faith in the only one that can anchor us in these days that don't make sense. This new decade feels like a big and exciting one, and I feel so blessed to get to be a part of it💖
