I don’t know about you, but it feels like I am always waiting and pushing for the next big thing. anxious and impatient to move into our new home, for my prayers to be answered, for answers for health concerns. And this year my biggest one was getting my book launched. Do you find yourself always looking forward to the next big thing instead of just enjoying the process and trusting God’s timing?

Trusting God’s Timing
It took way longer than I ever expected! It felt like there was always something to accomplish, adjust or wait for as I kept pushing to have it published. Finally I realized I just needed to trust Gods timing. His is always perfect and when we commit our plans to Him, we will succeed, so why do we stress?
As I look back over the years I realize that Gods hand and timing has always been in control of my life. Even when we were not always listening to Him. Sometimes we have had to learn the hard way but His grace has always abounded. Can you relate? Or are you in the deep treading the water looking for a way out?
From even my rebellious days, to when He woke me up to follow Him just in time to raise up our children, to every single house we have ever moved to, to being anxious with our workplace. His timing has and always will be perfect! He has kept us from so many mistakes and has answered all of our many prayers (it would take me days to list them and that’s not even all the daily ones!). He just answered them in His perfect timing and thankfully not in mine. Why? Because I needed to learn something in the process. Because if it happened too soon we would not appreciate it the same. To be thankful. To protect us from greater pain. because maybe we were not ready yet. I feel like my whole life has all been practice for the next thing and the next thing, and somehow I feel like all the roads I have learned are coming together to collide into this one moment that stands before me. So what is my point in all of this?
His timing is everything!
Trust the Lord’s timing and do not get ahead of His perfect plan for your life. He knows how many hairs are on your head. It says in scripture He planned the days of your life my friend, so why are you anxious? (I can’t answer that one cause I find myself being a bit anxious at times too. Do we ever stop? Lol) My advice for today? Rest in His perfect plan. Pray and surrender your plans to the one who knows what you need each step of the way and don’t get distracted by the pretty grass that looks greener beside you, because that is someone else grass and if you step out of your own grass, your path completely changes (that’s where Gods grace comes in when you repent of your sin, but it may be way more pain than God ever intended for you) Rely on His goodness and take one step at a time as He calls you forward. Dont get anxious in the process or lean on your own understanding. Trust in Him and He will supply for your every need as you go.
My book Redesign! Trusting God’s Timing
As I say this, my book was released this week! The craziest part? My book was launched for sale a year to the day I started writing it. I had a whole pile of rainbows this week too which is always a sense of the Lord’s promise on something I have been praying and pressing in about for some time. So my baby is now here! And ready for purchase. Feel free to check it out for sale on Amazon, Chapters and much, much more!
Thank you for your prayers and support as I feel like a new ministry opportunity has just been launched.
Update! I found this post I never published from over 2 years ago, but it felt fitting to post it in the wait we are all experiencing right now… and as I relaunch a gorgeous newly updated version of Redesign this month.
